Yep, the floor is open for comments on requiring the "modern/flat limb" bow. Anyone else care to add their 2 cents to the jar?

Jonathas

On Tue, Dec 2, 2008 at 11:05 AM, Siegfried <siegfried@crossbows.biz> wrote:

I like having representation, but I dislike 'requiring' a modern bow. I
do like encouraging period bow use (be it crossbow or period handbow)

Therefore, my suggestion would be simply to say something like: "3
competitors, one must be shooting a period crossbow (defined as not
having a split prod nor a rifle/pistol stock), and one shooting a period
handbow (defined as having X/Y/Z per the ATlantian RR rules)"

The 3rd competitor could use anything, modern recurve, modern longbow,
modern crossbow, whatever.
