[Archers] St. Sebastian's Station Scoring?

Fen, I like your idea for scoring and I don't have any problem with it. I
would rather leave the flexibility up to the target creators as long as we
don't have any that are crazy high. For those of you that are contributing
targets, if you would like to follow this scoring, please feel free. I know
from time to time we have a bit more complex targets and I think there is
nothing wrong with that as long as they are not potential bottle necks
during the day. We need to keep the archers in mind and that we are trying
to process as many archers through as possible.

Thank you all again for all of the support with this shoot, we would not be
successful without all of your help!

Janyn

For target score scaling, wouldn't it be easier for everyone to adopt a
uniform standard of 1,2 and 3 points? 1 for easy shots, 2 for moderate, 3
for difficult. So a standard SCA station with 6 arrows slowfire would max at
18pts. Speed rounds at 30 points max (assuming 10 shots in 30 secs).

Would make it easier on the Sebastain staff to scale. For example, if they
wanted to make the above slow fire station balance with the speed station,
all they would have to do is adjust your 1,2,3 to 2,4,6 (coming to 36 pts
max, which is on par the speed round max)

Makes it easier to balance stations, and I hear archers like working with
smaller numbers anyway ;)

Cheers

My initial designs/thoughts have my station scoring a perfect score of 30
points. Certainly, that is open to revision if that is not in line with
other stations. Hope that helps :D

Has anyone decided on the scoring for their station yet?

I've come up with mine but want to know if it's in line with anyone else.

Thanks!

Mistress Matelle I think you are probably the first. I think it will be just
fine, unless they can score hundreds of points at that one station? :)
