[Archers] Pennsic Champions Team information

My Brothers and Sisters of the Bow, I just got updated information about the
Champions shoot. Im not at all encouraged by what Im reading, but lets see
what happens. Here is the wording I received from the Archer General of the
Mid. Sounds like everyone might have to try out for slots this year on team.

 

Glad to hear from you!  Well, let me put it this way- Midrealm split my job
into 3 people.

2 are under the War general - Deputy General for Pennsic War - Target
Archery and Target making.

I am still retaining as Pennsic Archery Marshal only.  Only involved in
Archery Marshal activities not required for war point.

However - Edward Thorne is now in charge of Champions.  Hopefully he will be
having open try-outs as I did last year.  It worked well for me. 

It was the first time we had over 70 people trying out. We need a 50 person
team. 40 shooters, 10 alts.  That is NOT changing.

 

I can probably guarantee that at least 2 of your top shooters and others,
but have NO idea, as he is not consulting either Grant or myself. (Which
will be a problem, as I am supposed to be the

interface.)  I will try to notify him (his phone number is around her

somewhere) and ask for you.  What I did was guarantee 2, and let any of the
others try for the other 30plus positions that are open. (I had the Kingdom
and Regional Champions of Midrealm given a slot, to pump up Archery in the
Midrealm).
