Lol. Maybe at the next big event they should have the armored fighters witness a shoot with several moving targets before they can go and fight.
 Also this is the same thing we run into at Pennsic with the Atlatl Battle.

Remember the running boar at St Sebastian's Shoot at Pennsic 41? Maybe we
need to pull out that target more often! I find this particularly silly
because I have a RR average of 11 and managed to put an arrow in that thing.
