Noble Friends of the Bow,
Plans to revamp Nottingham "Castle" and build a Robin Hood theme park are now on hold. Seems there is too much competition for Heritage Lottery Fund money. Maybe next year: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-22450769
What's really interesting about this story is that Nottingham has an official Robin Hood, portrayed by Tim Pollard. His picture accompanies the above article. Nice garb!
There is also a link to an earlier story about Robin Hood that discusses some of the legends: http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/nottingham/hi/people_and_places/history/newsid_8483000/8483569.stm
Yours Aye,
Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
