Mistress Martelle, you captured my point exactly. This is what really got me
among the other silliness. It doesn't have to be Archery it could have been
rapier, brewing, etc. I just cant get my head around how one person can
derail a complete Marshallate, I just don't see the effectiveness of that? I
understand I am a cheerleader for archery, but since I approve or disapprove
all warrants in our discipline, how do I get pushed aside when that decision
needs to be made? Can you spell dysfunctional?

I applaud everyone's passion, it is the reason I enjoy archery as much as I
do in this Kingdom. You are all true friends and we will not be divided by
foolish things!

40+ paying slots is a big block to disinfranchise.

If he's such an experienced MIC, as he claims, he damn well SHOULD be
experienced with the archery community by now.

Marshall-In-Charge means just that, you are in charge and the buck stops at
you if anyone has an issue and you had BETTER have answers about any
marshall activity at the event you are in charge of. Relying so heavily on
the marshalls that you won't have an activity because you don't trust many
people to run them is a problem in your supervisory skills. MIC's don't have
to know everything but they should know a lot.

Telling the Kingdom DEM, no thank you I don't trust you or anyone you may
suggest to me to run an archery range either, is a problem.

yours,
Martelle
