Noble Friends of the Bow:

Melting snow has revealed Norwegian neolithic arrows: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-23849332 . The arrow point on the example shown is made of slate. These are way before our historical period, but surely to be of interest to us as archers.
