Subject: [Marshalls] Seeking new DEM for combat archery

All,

 

After many years and some recent life changing events I am ready to step
down.  The kingdom will need a new Deputy Kingdom Earl Marshal for Combat
Archery (DEM-CA).

 

Responsibilities 
First and foremost, Any applicant should love and respect Combat Archery.
They will be the new steward, caretaker, provider and protector all rolled
into one.  This position is a deputy to the Kingdom Earl Marshal (KEM). Any
policy changes or disciplinary action should be discussed with the KEM
before implementation.

The office has a significant number of responsibilities. The office holder
has the authority to delegate many of these to regional officers or trusted
senior marshals but is ultimately responsible for seeing that all these
responsibilities are met.
Specific Duties:

1.    Oversee Atlantian combat archery in general.

2.    Interpret and update Atlantian combat archery rules and policies.

3.    Issue/revoke marshal warrants.

4.    Issue/revoke combat archery authorizations (issuing is actually done
through the marshal corps).

5.    Oversee the combat archery Marshal in Training program. Write/teach
required training classes throughout the kingdom. 

6.    Appoint appropriate deputy/regional marshals as needed.

7.    Run combat archery marshal meeting at Unevent.

8.    Represent combat archery interests at the Kingdom level through
interactions with the Kingdom Earl Marshal, Crowns, and populous. 

9.    File quarterly reports with the EM.

10.  Represent Atlantia at inter-Kingdom events.

a.    Provide qualified marshals to help with war points.

b.    Participate in any marshals' courts involving Atlantian combat
archers.

11.  Maintain or expand the pool of qualified replacement DEMs through
delegation and training.

12.  Advise the Kingdom Earl Marshal on the selection of their replacement.
