I don't disagree at all! Just use your best judgment, you won't really be
able to see any structural damage in them so it will be a crap shoot with
them...

My suggestion: Whenever any marshals encounter these PVC bows, we make an
informal report to this list about it. This will give us a pool of knowledge
from which we can draw conclusions about their safety.
