[Archers] Ruby Joust camping?

I *may* have permission from the wifey to spend this weekend down at Ruby Joust.  Never been before, so I'm not aware of how camping is set up. And pre-reg is closed.  Is it like Pennsic where I can I just show up Friday and find space in some public camp area?  Or do I need to hustle to get inside a "known" camp before then?
