You know, they DO make those t-shirts with concentric rings. :-) Just saying.

I wonder if the rice cakes would fit in the hand disc thrower.

A couple of eco-friendly ideas. Use rice cakes or make patties out of flour. Either would simply be food for the birdies. The rice cakes don’t have a lot of mass so would not fly very far nor roll too great. The flour patties could be made substantially heavier but either would still be animal edible.

I have thought of a system that would “deliver” kid’s rubber balls from a ramp. Pull a cord and one gets released to roll down the ramp either across the shooting line or towards/away from the archers. The next ball would then be staged for release next time the cord is pulled. This way the whole thing could be loaded with several balls each delivered one at a time. I live next door to a kiddie care center and the kiddies throw their balls over the fence all day long. We used to take them back but the adults (?) at the center don’t seem to care much. So I just started collecting them…….. I know, MEAN cog. Hey, it’s what I’m known for…………………. GRRRRRR, here kid, go over there, no farther, about 35 yards out, good, now hold that paper plate right in front of you……….grrrrrrrrrrrr

PS: Before I get hate mail for the humor above realize that I have no kids but have been coaching kid’s ice hockey for 18 years now.

They are bio-degradable, the paint and everything else is simply clay. They just look bad in a pile. We typically put down a big tarp to catch all small pieces to be thrown away when done.

Ya know....we have Siege Engine Engineers who can make stuff like this. (below) Hummm.......(stroking my invisible beard) Looks like a blast.

I can see the advantage of doing the clay over the water, with the clean up. They do biodegrade, but until they do...ouch, wouldn't want to step on one.

I just might pick one of the hand throwers up for fun...see how well (or not well) we can do. Perhaps just for the fun of it at WoW or SAAD.

Has anyone ever tried the hand clay pigeon throwers for archery?

Curious....I think it might be fun.
