[Archers] Fall Coronation Request from Their Highnesses

That is what his Highness discussed with me, pairing an experienced shooter
with a newer or less ranked one to form teams, sounds like fun to me!

Cog, that sounds like an AWESOME shoot for like a lochmere arrow type team
competition, but (if I understood the earlier post which I may not have) the
teams are made up of one high-ranked and one newer archer, in which case
that may be a little too cog, i mean evil, for those teams, lol. But GREAT
idea nonetheless.

Well I have a diabolical team. two person, shoot. The butt is 4 X 8 mounted
8 high. Near the top is a horizontal wire loop. Sitting on top of the loop
is a balloon. Hanging from the bottom of the balloon is a cardboard frame 1
inch wide 10 - 12 inches inside. There is a line drawn on the butt about 3
feet from the top. The first archer must hit the balloon to pop it allowing
the frame to drop. The second archer must put an arrow through the frame to
prevent it from hitting the ground. If the second arrow hits the frame it
does not count. The frame must fall below the 3 foot mark to indicate that
it was indeed free falling when arrested.

Sick, I know,

First, this was both His AND Her Highness making the request :) don't give

Him all the credit :)

Second, They both seemed to want to keep the ceremony details

a secret :). Sorry

As I stated in an earlier response, the team part is tourney and if anyone

has any good idea for team targets (requiring something from each archer,

and can't be taken over by one) we can find out who to contact (other than

Their Highnesses, if any....no MICs listed on event announcement)
