[Archers] Gulf Wars Archery

The Populace Shoot at Gulf Wars is all that I can comment on. It was one of the most difficult shoots I've ever seen for a populace shoot.

Four arrows only...three at clout (a 14 ' circle!) and one at a "standing man" target (although you could choose whether you wanted to shoot at the 20 yard or 30- yard one). The legal scoring areas on the "man" were the face, right arm, both thighs and both lower legs...everything else was "armored" or covered with a shield and line breaks did NOT count.

In the group of archers with which I shot, only one person scored! The grouping included some of the best archers from our former kingdom, Northshield, so I didn't feel too bad about this being the first and only time in 20 years that I have shot a populace War Point and scored a big goosegg! My commendations to anyone who was able to score on this shoot!
