[Archers] Archers Digest, Vol 94, Issue 14

 Archers,
   For those who would like to read a true story about two brothers,
who after the surrender at Appomattox, went back to Georgia and
surived for ten years using the long bow that they learned how to make
from an English hermit living on the plantation.
 The book is called "The Witchery of Archery" by Maurice Thompson
  Orginally published 1878
