[Archers] Archer at War of the Wings...wow...wow

Back in my combat archer days I found that anyone in armor who thought
themselves too good to be nice to me or mostly my lady bacame a really
interesting target for my first selcted kill of the battle.  And that
really p**sed them off! 
 
Motto for heavies to learn:  Don't mess with an archer!

Ha. Most definately!  As much as we complain about archery being the
treated like a bastard cousin, I find I need to be reminded that we
represent thrown and siege weapons too. 

 

Its never wise to ignore a siege engine :)

Fen, I like how you think.  Does apply to thrown weapons spousal units

Sounds like a stellar event, Lorelei. I really regret missing this one.
Must give it priority for next season, even if it replaces Pennsic for
us. 

 

I'm also of a mind that all husbands/wives/companions of Archery MICs
should be awarded a day of pampering at a spa, to compensate for all
they deal with when we go crazy with our archery :)

...And as always, a heartfelt thanks to my husband Lord Tim Arrowfinder
for his never ending help, patience and understand with target material
strewn all over the house, half painted targets on the kitchen table for
weeks, finding duct tape in strange places, help in designing the
shoots, loading and unloading again and again, set up, clean up, not
being able to fit a car in our two car garage because of all the archery
stuff and his continued support for all the crazy things I do.  I love
