Well, in all honesty, we could have :)

Unfortunately our own modern travel schedules, having a 2 year old, and
various other SCA commitments, unfortunately bent our hand in this
direction.

We apologize for the inconvenience to those who are, in fact,
inconvenienced ...

And highly suggest that people who wish to change that, if they can
attend, do so, win the Arrow, and run it yourself at a more accessible
place.

Should Francesca and I happen to defend the title successfully ... we
will immediately endevour to find a more centrally available location to
host it next year.

I will also state, that I will most happily provide and/or find crash
space, as possible, for those that are wishing to attend/compete, and
cannot make the journey.

It is our hope that people will come and enjoy the event, and help show
the skill of the Atlantian Archers to our friends, and good neighbors,
of AEthelmearc.
