Seems I was behind the times:

Seamus, get well quick.  We want you back in action. 
Few archers in Atlantia bring as much enthusiasm to
each target archery event as you, which makes it more
fun for the rest of us.

Barre, thank for posting this.  I've seen three bows
blow up at events this year, and several arrows.  If
something like this happens to an experienced archer
like Seamus, it tells us we all need to be very
careful about our gear.  Especially during events and
practice when arrows get nicked by other arrows, but
it goes unnoticed in the excitement.
