[Archers] Unevent Archery Meeting notes

Just quick notes from the archery meeting:

* State of archery in the Kingdom is good ... almost 200 archers at 
Kingdom Archery

* Seamus Incident - Please make sure to inspect your arrows as you pull 
them from the target, and if you have a 'slightly broken' arrow, please 
break it the rest of the way so that you do not accidentally shoot it later.

* Make sure that you are doing bow inspections at events.

* Recommend (not required), that metal crossbow prods have sicherns or 
leather wraps for WHEN they break.

* Remember to classify bows for Royal Round correctly.  A Period longbow 
is scored in the 'Period' division, and NOT the 'Longbow' division, and 
so on.   Each bow fits in one division, and one division only.  We are 
simply trying to categorize what bow type was used to shoot the Royal 
Round, so that the different types of bows can be compared against each 
other.  You wouldn't score a crossbow as a recurve, so don't score a 
Period bow as a Longbow.

* Noted that the Current definition of Longbow vs. Recurve is the same 
as the NFAA standard ... any recurve in the limb when strung means it is 
a recurve.

* A 'hint' for the future ... If you wish to participate in the next 
Seasonal challenge (for this summer), you may wish to aquire a 122cm 
target face (The 5 color ring target (like Royal Round), that is 4 foot 
wide) ... and think 'distance'.

* The new rules were brought up, but there were no questions.
