Greetings unto the artisans of Atlantia from the Scrivener Royal for the reign of Ragnarr V and Lynette II,</p>

Each Scrivener Royal is charged with holding a competition at the Coronation of the rising monarchs to determine the new Scrivener Royal. I would like to give any and all artisans who would vie for this royal appointment enough time to prepare an entry by outlining
the criteria for the competition to be held in the spring at the next Atlantian Coronation.</p>

Create art. Create art you could, upon royal request, create in a week’s time for presentation at an event. Create ART. Your entry is to be a showpiece. It is the very definition of the position, to be at the call of the Monarchs and produce such art as They
require. Think beyond the box of tradition and be the artist you are. Show the rising monarchs and the populace how varied and amazing the artisans of Atlantia are.</p>

It can be a backlog scroll, a commission, or a commemorative piece. It must contain either illumination/illustration or text but can contain both as the item dictates. It can be crafted with ink, paint, dye, thread, engraving or carving, burning, or other medium
appropriate for the surface. It can be crafted on paper or vellum, leather, wood, stone, metal, fabric, food, or other ground that can be displayed for judging and safely and reasonably be presented to a recipient.</p>
