are due in ONE WEEK, so we created a helpful checklist to make sure you
submit yours on time!

IMPORTANT INFO FOR STUDENTS & INSTRUCTORS:

1. We invite instructors & students of all levels from across the Knowne
World to join us!
2. Student registration is 8/17/20-9/10/20.
3. Classes times are Eastern.
4. Instructors must teach in an online format. Zoom and Google Meet are our
preferred class platforms.
5. We will have dedicated tech support available for our two preferred
platforms.
6. Only registered students will have access to class links.
7. Opportunities to learn how to effectively teach / TA an online class
will soon be available from our Online Education Deputy.

INSTRUCTOR EXPECTATIONS:

1. Include your planned online platform in the "PLATFORM" field.
2. Update your class proposal BEFORE Sept 4 with the direct link to your
class & any needed access info such as passwords.
3. Consider listing a TA / Moderator to help with tasks such as: monitoring
the chat, approving attendees, calling on students with raised hands, etc.
4. Plan to send your class handouts to students before the event if at all
possible by putting a link in your class description or emailing a link to
students after student registration closes.
5. Record your class & share it / your handouts with your students, on your
personal site, and / or via the Athenaeum Atlantium (
