Unto Your Royal Majesties, King Amos and Queen Kara, Your Royal
Highnesses Prince Dietrich and Princess Una, and the good people of the
glorious Kingdom of Atlantia does Cian Triton, Principal Herald, send
greetings this fine, chilly January Day.
On Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Atlantian Twelfth Night, Their
Majesties did process into morning court, accompanied by Their landed
Barns and Baronesses. As everyone was seated, a grand procession of
ponies was presented to the Court of Atlantia, to much amusement and
enjoyment!
Their Majesties then bid the populace welcome, and spoke of the grandeur
and fun that was expected from the event, and that They hoped everyone
would find the time to spend with friends and enjoy the company of their
fellow Atlantians.
Mistress Adriana la Bretonne was called forth, where she was confirmed
in her new position as Chancellor of the University of Atlantia. Their
Majesties expressed Their gratitude that she was taking on this
important duty, and said that they had full confidence in her abilities.
Lady Marion le Red was called into court, and Their Majesties confirmed
her in her new position as Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences, and
accepted her oath of fealty as a Great Officer of State for Atlantia.
Amani Ahmad ibn Masha’al al-Sabtial-Dulaymi was summoned into couirt,
where she received her Award of Arms and was welcomed into the ranks of
the nobility.
Her Excellency Baroness ilaria de Gandia, Baroness of Storvik, was
commanded to appear in court, where she was recognized for her arts by
being inducted into the Order of the Pearl.
The Order of the Golden Dolphin was summoned before Their Majesties, and
Their Majesties did see fit to swell the already humongous gathering by
one more, calling Lady Rhiannon Morgaine forward to be inducted into the
Order.
As the Order of the Golden Dolphin returned to their seats, the Order of
the Pelican was called forth. Their Majesties wished to add 2 more
people to their ranks, and had Lord Janyn Fletcher of Lancastreschire
and Baroness Emma West brought forward to be placed on vigil to
contemplate joining the order.
Before closing Court, His Majesty King Amos spoke of disturbing news
that Duke Kenric of the East Kingdom had been reported missing the
previous day while kayaking, and that an intensive search was being
undertaken. He asked Atlantia to keep Duke Kenric and his family, and
indeed the entire East Kingdom, in their thoughts and prayers.
There being no further business, Their Majesties did close Their court
and process out to enjoy the day.

Later that evening, the hall was prepared for evening court, and Their
Majesties did process in, again accompanied by Their Landed Barons and
Baronesses. There was no pony procession this time, as the ponies were
tired and needed rest time in their paddocks.
Lord Janyn Fletcher of Lancasterschire was called forward before the
thrones, and was properly inducted into the Order of the Pelican.
Lord Marco de Verona was invited into court, where he presented Their
Majesties with a gift of a shield/table decorated with the arms of the
Kingdom and the Baronies. It was a beautiful piece of work, and Their
Majesties thanked Lord Marco for his fine gift.
Lady Annika Siltanen of the Pages Acadamy came forward to conduct a Page
induction. Baron Lochlainn of Raven’s Cove formally took Gunnar Asbjorn
Varsson as his Page, and proper oaths were sworn to seal the arrangement.
The children were called into court, and Baroness Ingegerd Kastanrazi
was given the honor/punishment (you choose) of trying to keep the toy
box from the children. Alas, Baroness Ingegerd was unsuccessful, the
children all received toys, and Her Excellency was never seen again.
Adonza de Leon and Thomas de Lockwood were summoned before Their
Majesties. They were both recognized by the King and Queen and awarded Arms.
His Majesty stepped forward to speak of people who have done much for
the Kingdom, and who have distinguished themselves far beyond what most
people do. He had the Order of the Nonpareil called forward. Though few
in number, those gathered on the stage were truly inspirations for all
Atlantians, and Their Majesties wished to add one more to their group.
Following proper military tradition, the herald did call 3 times for Sir
Aldrydd Ffestiniog to come forward. As all may know, Sir Aldrydd did
pass away a year ago, and his loss is still felt by all those who knew
him. It was an emotional moment as Sir Aldrydd was inducted into the
Order of the Nonpareil.
Lord Gideon ap Stephen was called into court to receive his Coral Branch
in appreciation for his work in the Bardic Arts.
The always impeccably dressed Lady Anniliese Jager and Lord Klaus Jager
were brought into court before Their Majesties and were each awarded a
Court Barony, with beautiful coronets being provided by Master Bran
Treffonen.
The newcomers were invited to come forward into court, where they were
welcomed warmly by Their Majesties and Their Excellencies of Marinus,
and each was given a token and encouraged to return again.
Lady Scholastica Joycouers was summoned forth, where Queen Kara spoke of
how Lady Scholastica had not originally planned to attend Twelfth Night,
but when she heard of things that needed to be done, she changed her
plans, attended the event, and took care of many items. Her Majesty was
most pleased to award her a Fountain in appreciation of her time and
service.
Lady Dierdre O’Bardon was called before Their Majesties, and was
recognized for her work with the arts by being inducted into the Order
of the Pearl.
The Autocrat came forward to thank her staff, and to have prizes
awarded. It was learned that 400+ people attended Twelfth Night.
Their Majesties had Baroness Emma West brought forth, and she was
inducted into the Order of the Pelican in appreciation of her service to
the Kingdom.
His Majesty once again stepped forward to address the populace, and it
was with great sorrow in his heart that he announced that the search for
Duke Kenric had been called off by the authorities, and that he was
officially deemed lost at sea. He again asked for the thought and
prayers for the family of Duke Kenric, as well as the good people of the
East Kingdom.
There being no further business, court was closed and the hall began to
be prepared for the wonderful and amazing feast that was to come.
This account is accurate to the best of my recollection.
