*Job Posting:* Atlantian University Chancellor

The Kingdom of Atlantia is seeking candidates for the position of
University Chancellor of the University of Atlantia, which is a warranted
3-year term of service.
The University Chancellor is an Officer of State position reporting to the
Atlantian Kingdom Minister of Arts & Sciences.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

   - Solicit, review, and accept bids for University sessions, answering
   any questions from potential sites/autocrats in the bid proposal process
   - Update University website with session information, announcements, and
   class information.
   - Solicit and review class proposals for each session, organize into a
   schedule and work with the Registrar to enter class catalog onto the
   website for instructor review and preregistration.
   - Work with autocrats on any special requests, room requirements, site
   particulars, and help with event coordination.
   - Print out necessary paperwork for identifying rooms, schedule grid
   copies sometimes with map of site for navigation, and some catalogs for
   attendees to refer to.
   - Run each University session from having the bell rung to signal change
   of class times, to making sure signs are posted within the site for
   attendee navigation, and run Convocation during the lunch hour for degrees
   and announcements.
   - Work with the Registrar and Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences on
   any concerns or considerations for the future of the University in Atlantia.

This is an unpaid position. Applicants should be paid members of the
Society and able to travel throughout Atlantia, and have easy access to
phone, computer, mail and e-mail. Experience in both the practice and
coordination of the Arts and Sciences as practiced in the SCA is strongly
preferred. Within ten (10) days of installation, the new Chancellor must
present their membership information demonstrating their membership is
current through the end of their initial term of office. Experience working
with the University of Atlantia online database is strongly encouraged.

Applicants should submit their information no later than December 1st. The
official transition will happen in Atlantian Royal Court at 12th Night and
further transition will occur at Winter University.
