A&S Competitions and Activities at Yule on the Bridge, Barony of Ponte Alto

Open Display of static A&S entries with a general Yule or holiday theme
(downstairs). Bring out your best winter handicrafts, cold-weather garb,
and all things red, green, blue, and white (or the colors of your favorite
seasonal tradition).

Festive Garb Competition - decided by popular vote

To participate:

   -

   Wear your most festive Yule or holiday themed garb.
   -

   A runway show will take place before Court at 4pm.
   -

   Votes will be collected and the winner announced at Court.


Cookie Bakeoff and Exchange (downstairs) - decided by popular vote

To participate:

   -

   Bring 3 dozen cookies for each entry - yes, you can enter more than one
   cookie.
   -

   Bring a typed ingredient list to be display with your name and entry -
   this is for allergen alert purposes.
   -

   Taste test other people's cookies.
   -

   Vote on your favorite, with the winner to be announced at Court.


Not required but if you would like to bring copies of your recipe to share
and tupperware to take home any extra cookies not consumed on site :)

Tabletop Decorating Competition (upstairs) - voted on by the children in
attendance at the event

To participate:

   -

   There will be empty table space available for decorating.
   -

   Claim your space and decorate it with as much Yule festivity as you can
   muster.
   -

   Be sure to display your name prominently with your "entry".
   -

   Hospitality food and beverages are encouraged, but not required.
   -

   The children in attendance will vote on their favorite and the winner
   will be announced at Court.


Brewing Competition (downstairs)

To participate:

   -

   Bring your finest seasonal brews (mulled wines, beers, cordials,
   what-have-you) to be judged by our very own Baron Drogo!
   -

   Documentation for competition entries is encouraged but not required.


**If there is enough interest, there will also be a brewing roundtable**

Bardic Competition (upstairs): All ages are welcome, as are individual
and/or group performances.

To participate:

   -

   Please prepare two seasonally-appropriate performances to delight your
   audience.
   -

   Documentation is encouraged but not required.
   -

   Winner will be announced at Court.



We will also have a "populace garland" available for decorating, so please
bring any accoutrement you wish to contribute: evergreen, holly, magnolia
leaves, etc.
