Baroness Wynne,
That was a true and fair account of the day, and we thank you for your masterful recitation of events.
I would add that my heart was glowing with happiness after a day in such fine company.

And even though the skies let forth steady drizzles the whole day, the blush of Spring was most apparent in the Shire of Isenfir as the Queen’s Rapier Tournament took place on the twenty-second of April, A.S. LI. Amidst the green fields and within a warm and dry hall many were the combatants for the honor of becoming Rapier Champion to Queen Signy.
>
> Before you Herald continues, she must thank all those who fought, for their patience and understanding for mispronounced names. What a wonderful group of gentles these rapier fighters are. And as this was my first exclusively rapier tourney, I am humbled and honored to have played a small part, thank-you all!
>
> The fighting was fierce, intense, calculated, honorable and exciting. The last four combatants were Master Caitlin inghean Fheichon, Baronos Charisomos Lakadaimonias, Lord Bumi and Lord Seamus O’Maoil Riaim. Of these Charisomos and Bumi were set for the finals where Lord Bumi proved victorious.
>
> While there was no formal morning court, Queen Signy made sure Baroness Edan of Raven’s Cove was given the floor to announce, “The Return to Camelot: An Arthurian Event” to be held in Raven’s Cove, May 12-14, A.S LII. It is sure to be included in the net of ethereal writings.
>
> After the tournament, Her Majesty held a brief court. She first called Lord Eberhardt of Mountains Keep into court to receive a long lost Osprey scroll left from the days of Her Majesty’s ancestors. As he was not I attendance His Grace William received it and promised to hand it to Lord Eberhardt.
>
> House Corvus was then invited in to court to be thanked for all of their efforts especially the Queen’s Tea and the lovely edible roses, which I might add this herald just HAD to taste test.
>
> Lady Colette Vitalis, whose fighting skill and conduct on the field caught the eye of the Queen, received a pair of striped socks. Her courageousness and honor is something to be set before all who would take the field of combat.
>
> For her dedication to her shire in preparing and dismantling a site, her friendly and welcoming manner to all and involvement in archery Malena of Isenfir was ennobled with an Award of Arms. Lady Malena’s reliability and constant dedication will serve her shire and her Kingdom well in the years to come.
>
> Lady Malena was then asked to escort Dan of the Red Mountain so that he might receive not only a Coral Branch but also an Award of Arms. Lord Dan is a skilled musician and provides wonderful tunes for dancing and for the enjoyment of the populace.
>
> There were three newcomers who were invited into court. One, a young woman, provided Queen Signy and those in the Royal Room a fine tune that had us joining in on toward the end…and we will never cut our hair nor will we lower our voices! Welcome to these three new folk and it is hoped you will return many times.
>
> Our children are never forgotten, and though there were only two in attendance, they were rewarded with a fine “chase” after Lord Bumi for treasures from the toy box. In fact, the young boy made sure the littlest girl did not falter in the chase by carrying her all the way to the toy box and letting her choose first. What a fine youngling!
>
> Baronos Charisomos Lakadaimonias, who came in second in the Tournament, received from the hand of Her Majesty a lovely wooden box with two paternosters. His skill and bearing in the contest was applauded by all.
>
> Queen Signy then had Lord Bumi called so as to receive the accoutrement as the Queen’s Rapier Champion. His promise made to fight during the upcoming Pennsic War; he joined those behind the throne to serve as protector and champion.
>
> Countess Kara, the ever busy Autocrat, appeared before the throne and was thanked for her efforts, but your herald let her get away too soon as, Katheryn de Montgomery was called into court and then Baroness Olwen de Montgomery shortly after her.
>
> Katheryn received an Award of Arms in recognition of her efforts as ground crew for the equestrians, her constant hospitality and tireless retaining for her Baronial Coronets of raven’s Cove. Welcome Lady Katheryn, born in the S.C.A!
>
> Baroness Olwen, recently wounded, received an Opal, for acting as a Baronial Deputy in Raven’s Cove, her feast cooking, autocrating Unevent 2016, and as a new student in the art of the minister of the list. A most humble Lady. Her Majesty hoped for a speedy recovery and reminded your Herald that Countess Kara still had a bit more to say.
> Sooooooo…
>
> Countess Kara reentered court to once again give thanks to her volunteers and give Her Majesty gifts, and to receive gifts for both her and her volunteers who made this event the success it was.
>
> Vivat to all and again my thanks to all.
>
> This is a true accounting, as I can remember. If there be any corrections please contact me privately.
>
> I remain in Service to Crown and Country
> Baroness Wynne ferch Rhodri.
