Greetings,

It is time to start talking about Atlantia's Summer University!!! This
session will be held on June 11, 2016 in Boonsville, NC and will be hosted
by House Corvus.

Excited to say, this will be an outdoor university setting where
instructors can showcase not only traditional university classes, but also
arts and sciences that are not traditionally allowed in a school or church
setting (ie: metal working, outdoor cooking, beadwork, archery, thrown and
siege weapons, brewing) as well as large field settings for melee and a
variety of martial classes.

Another neat new additional is night time classes. This is a camping
weekend and camping will be available onsite. Therefore, we are open to
classes that take advantage of the dark. If we have enough interest we
will showcase these classes as well.

If you are interested in teaching a class, organizing a track of classes,
or have an idea for a class but don't know who to turn to, please view
http://university.atlantia.sca.org/teach.php or send a note to me at
university at atlantia.sca.org.

I ask that you please send me your class proposal information, either
through the via email, by April 20, 2016 for TRACK proposals and April 27,
2016 for individual class proposals.

Please include the following information:
- Instructor name (SCA and modern)
- Class title
- Fees (if any)
- Max number of students (the default maximum is 25)
- Duration of class (1 hour, 2 hours, or more)
- Class description
- Any special requests including equipment or space requirements for the
class, as well as any conflicts. This includes equipment the instructor
would need from the site. E.g.: projector, sturdy tables, etc. Equipment is
not necessarily available, but it can't hurt to ask. Due to the nature of
the outdoor setting specific requests are encouraged to ensure your class
can work the way you'd like, if we can accommodate.

Although University is a free event to attend it is not a free event to
hold, so please consider a small donation ($5) to be given at Troll or the
Registration table the day of.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for for supporting Atlantia's University

In service,
Lady Lisette la Roux
University Chancellor
