AtlantianRoyal Archery Tournament: Stop the Invasion!April 9, 2016Barony of Bright Hills
 – Stop thepresses! We have an urgent plea from Lady Katarzyna Witkowska, ChiefDragon Wrangler, for the Barony of Bright Hills: while awaiting thekingdom's imminent invasion, our lands have been overrun by small, pesky dragons! We need the energy and ambition of young, budding archers [the children] to participate in a tournament andslay the pests with our trebuchet and crossbows. You canalso decorate your own dragon egg.  There will be coloringas well.  Please help!
It will take many handsbesides those of our premier archers to save our kingdom. We alsocall upon bards to come lend their breath to songs and sagas, andbend the strings of their instruments to inspire our forces to featsof daring and skill.
For those looking to findnew homes for garb, accessories, feast gear and the rest of thepanoply of items used make your personnae come alive (who want toclear their closets and shelves to make room for the new things theyplan to make or buy), Lady Livi will host an SCA garage sale, withthe proceeds to benefit the barony's regalia. Come pepapred todonate, and to buy!
Yes, we're having atournament to select the next Atlantian Royal Archer, and offeringopportunities to compete for a year's bragging rights as the best inany royal round category except Novice. But there are reasons fornon-archers to attend. Come tojoin with the bards, or just listen; come for the children'sdragon-slayer tournament; come to donate to and/or buy from thegarage sale and the merchants;come to sip new flavors at Sekunjabin Tavern; come to savor the foodof the Bright Hills Cooks Guild (available at lunch).
