Scribes of Atlantia! With the 50 Year celebration behind us, and Pennsic ahead of us, it is time for a new scribal competition. The last competition hosted by the Royal Scriveners focused on Awards of Awesome for those people who have enhanced your game, and the entries were beautiful and heartfelt and fun. This time, we ask you to turn to your friends, your neighbors, members of your Barony or fellows in the Kingdom of Atlantia and ask - do you have a scroll in the backlog? Find a friend with a baronial or kingdom-level award* waiting for a scroll, and do it up for them because they're wonderful. Customize it, make it fun, make it great!Documentation will need to include why you chose the exemplar, style, or culture you did, and how you customized it to celebrate the accomplishments of your friend and SCAdian. Further documentation is accepted but not required.Drop your scroll off between 9am-2pm on Artisans Row, Tent A (where our own Baruna Sajah is teaching about Period Pigments). Their Majesties have graciously agreed to judge the contest, and we will have two winners - His Majesty's Choice and Her Majesty's Choice. Winners will be announced in Court. We're looking forward to seeing what you do for the friends you love, and showing off Atlantia's wonderful scribal talent to anyone and everyone at Pennsic War!Lady Caterina di Paulo, Royal Scrivener*Please note that if you choose a kingdom backlog, send an email to our Kingdom's backlog deputy letting him know that the scroll is done at backlog_deputy AT scribe DOT atlantia DOT sca DOT org. If you choose a Baronial backlog, let the Baronial backlog deputy (if there is one) know as well.
