[Atlantia-Announce] Children's Activities for Battle on the Bay

Children's Activities with Lady Scholastica Joycors - Whirligigs and
Bubbles is the planned activity for Battle on the Bay for the children to
make, decorate and play with from 12:30- 2 PM. Whirligigs or spinning
buzzes as they were sometimes referred to because of the whirring sound
they make as they spin (referenced in print in the early 17th century and
discovered in America in the 6th century). Bubbles because they are fun and
beads on wire are well...Norse. The children will make and bead their own
bubble wands as well and try out other styles of blowing bubbles. Children
may get wet or soapy playing and blowing bubbles, but that is the nature of
having fun isn't it?
