"Black Monday took place on Easter Monday (1360) during the Hundred Years'
War (1337-1460), when a huge hail storm struck and killed an estimated 1,000
English soldiers. The storm was so devastating that it caused more English
military casualties then any of the previous battles of the war." This was
on April 13, 1360. Because the Anniversary falls on Wednesday this year, I
must move my marking of this occasion to the 17th. Therefore, Let there be
ARCHERY! Grimmsfield will be open for Archery on Sunday April 17th from 3
p.m till it is too dark to shoot. As always, loaner gear will be available
and snacks are never turned down. For more information and directions please
see www.grimmsfield.com.

Your servant,

Grimm
