To all Archers please pay heed:

On September 19, 1356 - English forces under The Black Prince defeat the
French at Battle of Poitiers and capture the French King during the Hundred
Years War. This is one of the 3 GREAT battles for archers and the English
Longbow. To celebrate this wonderful victory, Lord Miles de Locewode has
requested all able bodied archers to join him at Grimmsfield for a Shoot.
Because University is on the 19th, Miles will be holding the shoot on Sunday
September 20th, beginning  at 4:00 p.m. and shoot till 6:00 p.m., making
this a great stopover for those northern archers coming home from
University.  Hope to see you all there and as always, snacks will never be
