[Atlantia-Announce] Royal Brewer Competition Announcement

Fellow Atlantians,

For the past half a year, it has been my honor to serve our Kingdom by the
sea as her Royal Brewer, and in March the time will come for me to step
aside for the next gentle to carry that title. As I am informed that the
recently selected site for KASF, while otherwise dry, has granted us
permission to hold the competition on site, the next Royal Brewer of
Atlantia will be able to be chosen there, in accordance with our laws and
customs.

The task of the Royal Brewer, as I see it, is to be a cheerleader for
Atlantia among brewers, and for brewing among Atlantians. It is also
customary for the Brewer to assist in the Royal party at Pennsic if able,
and they are responsible for coordinating the competition to help the Crown
select the next person to hold this title.

Entrants are asked to submit samples of three brewed beverages, with
documentation. (There is no requirement that these reflect differing
categories of the brewer's art, though such variety is certainly welcome.)

The selection of notables is purely at the discretion of the Crown. In
advising Them on this matter, however, judges will make use of the standard
Atlantian Brewers' Guild score sheets.
