[Atlantia-Announce] Fwd: Seeking moderators and feedback about the announcements list.

Unto the Kingdom of Atlantia, greetings from Talorgen Hersir, your Web
Minister.

This Announcements list has now been active for a while, and I would like
to ask for some feedback about it and also some help in keeping it running
in a timely fashion.

Please respond to webminister at atlantia.sca.org and not to the list.
 Anything that goes to the list will get to me anyhow, but I'll discard the
message rather than having the discussion occur here.

1.  Has the content on this list been useful?  Is it too little, too much,
or about right in terms of volume?
2.  For the most part, have the messages that come through been the kind of
content that you expected to see here?
3.  Do you have any particular suggestions for improvement?

I can't guarantee that I will act on your suggestions, but I would like to
have them and really do want to know whether this is being run about
as-expected.

Every message that comes through this list is either from an Officer of
State, a member of the Royalty, or has to be approved on a per-message
basis.  This moderation does not take up a large chunk of my time, but it
does mean that occasionally a message waits for longer than it has to
before being released.  I'm looking for a couple of volunteers to assist
with the moderation.  Taking the job would mean that you would get a login
to the moderation page and that you'd receive an email whenever a message
is kept awaiting moderation with a link in the message to use for going in
and approving or discarding it.  If you are interested in helping out,
please let me know.  I'll probably only be taking two or three people at
first, and will then see how things go before I decide whether to add more
moderators.
